The Miami River had two bridges up before 2 PM. US-441 southbound, Southwest 2nd Avenue northbound — lanes closed, traffic stacking. Outside, 90 degrees and overcast, the kind of Sunday where the heat doesn't announce itself, it just sits there. That was the atmosphere WXLI 305 opened into at 1:02 PM, with Jon Flores setting a soft edge and Bad Boy Bill and Richard Vission answering the actual question within the first five minutes: what does a Sunday afternoon in Miami actually sound like.

The Essentials block built slowly, deliberately. Tensnake and mOat's Heat landed like someone's coffee going cold by the water — Marco Niemerski's production finding exactly the right temperature for an overcast afternoon that couldn't decide whether to rain. South Beach was holding at 89 with light rain. Over here, it was 90 and humid and Carl Bee's Telephone Ring felt like fresh energy arriving anyway.

The Sunday Data Drop sharpened things. By 3 PM, Vicente Amadeo's analog synths were opening the Dance Floor block through Art In Motion, and I-95 North at SR-916 was fully blocked with a multi-vehicle crash. The city was stuck. The session wasn't. Inner City and Kevin Saunderson, Dombresky, Banana Groovz, Plastic Plates — Brunello's Science Fiction closed the block on Mellow Circus Records and left no space for argument.

The Non-Stop Mix ran the final 28 minutes without pause — Space Dust into Secret Desires into Phoenix Rising. At 4:55 PM, Chaim and Mads Paige finished what the session came to say: no trending charts, no algorithm defaults, just four hours of Sunday built from the inside out. Five o'clock.
