The kind of afternoon where concrete radiates upward and the city moves slower than it wants to admit. Jackie Hollander's "High On You" opened into that — a track that didn't try to cut through the weight but instead matched it, synths stretching wide and unhurried, letting the humidity win.

For the first half hour the set stayed lifted, almost defiant. Amal Nemer drifted skyward, Armin and Argy's "Like A Child" carried a vocal that floated above the pressure. But by the time Adriatique and Emmit Fenn brought "Closer" in at 5:30, something shifted. The tracks stopped reaching up and started pressing down. ARTBAT's "Galaxy" hit like the clouds thickening — expansive but heavy, all that space filled with tension rather than release. Rewire's "Back Again" locked into a groove that felt like surrender, the music finally admitting what the sky already knew.

The six o'clock hour belonged to the pavement.
